I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a camera in my hands. As a teenager, I hit the ground running by stealing my father’s camera day after day until he bought one for my next birthday. I grew up an only child in a small town, so taking photos of flowers was an exotic alternative to sitting inside all day.
Somehow, I never stopped taking photos. I graduated from flowers to self-portraits, then on to my best friends, who were a popular musical duo at my high school, practicing while we hung out. Now, I have an ever-growing portfolio that includes weddings, bands, & events, headshots, fashion, and fine art portraiture. I am also a self-taught makeup artist, so my portfolio reflects that with an intense attention to detail, both whiles shooting and in post-production.
The foundation of my work is candid. I don’t aim to fabricate moments in time, only gently nudge them if need be. That being said, I am never afraid to get up close and personal with you to capture more intimate moments. My clients often tell me that they felt comfortable and like themselves, both on the day of their wedding and when looking back on their images. I pride myself on being able to create outstanding imagery without sacrificing the experience of your day.
